Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Vas Exterior Cleaning. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website (vasexteriorcleaningl.co.uk) and the purchase of our exterior cleaning services. By booking a service with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

 

Vas Exterior Cleaning provides professional exterior maintenance, including but not limited to:

  • Pressure washing (driveways, patios, decking).

  • Gutter cleaning and clearing.

  • Roof cleaning and moss removal.

  • Window and conservatory cleaning.

We reserve the right to amend or withdraw any part of our services without notice.

 

2. Quotations and Bookings

  • Validity: Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

  • Accuracy: Quotes are based on information provided by the customer or a site visit. If the actual site conditions differ significantly from the description provided, we reserve the right to amend the price.

  • Acceptance: A booking is confirmed only when you have accepted our quote and a service date has been agreed upon.

 

3. Customer Obligations

 

To ensure we can perform the services safely and effectively, the customer agrees to:

  • Access: Provide unobstructed access to the areas requiring cleaning.

  • Utilities: Ensure access to a working outdoor water tap and, if requested, a standard electrical outlet.

  • Hazards: Inform us of any known hazards, fragile surfaces, or pre-existing damage (e.g., loose pointing, cracked tiles, or faulty seals).

  • Clearance: Remove vehicles, furniture, pots, or ornaments from the immediate work area prior to our arrival. We are not responsible for moving heavy items.

 

4. Payments

 

  • Due Date: Payment is due immediately upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Methods: We accept payment via bank transfer, cash, or debit/credit card (where available).

  • Late Payment: We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts at a rate of 3% above the Bank of England base rate per month.

 

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Notice: We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of 25% of the quoted price.

  • Weather: Exterior cleaning is weather-dependent. We reserve the right to reschedule services in the event of extreme weather (heavy rain, high winds, or freezing temperatures) to ensure safety and quality.

 

6. Liability and Limitations

  • Pre-existing Damage: We are not liable for damage resulting from pre-existing wear and tear, structural defects, or poor maintenance (e.g., water ingress through faulty window seals or loose mortar dislodged by standard pressure).

  • Chemical Use: We may use professional-grade cleaning solutions. While we take every precaution to protect surrounding flora, we are not liable for minor spotting on vegetation that was not cleared from the work area.

  • Indirect Loss: Vas Exterior Cleaning shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits or property value.

 

7. Satisfaction and Complaints

 

  • Inspection: We encourage customers to inspect the work upon completion.

  • Reporting: Any dissatisfaction must be reported to us within 48 hours of the service. We will endeavour to rectify any genuine issues at no additional cost if reported within this timeframe.

 

8. Use of Media

 

We may take "before and after" photographs or videos of our work for quality control and marketing purposes (including social media and our website). We will ensure that no sensitive personal information (such as house numbers or car registrations) is clearly identifiable without your permission.

 

9. Governing Law

 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
